Here’s something I hear a lot: “How do I start trading? Where do I start?”
The answer is simple: Learn about the stock market. Educate yourself. Most people jump the gun. They really just want to know how to make money, NOW.
If you’re serious about learning, you must remember that it’s all about perspective. Think about what you need to know before you start trading.
Trading is personal — every trader has a go-to style and strategy. You have to learn to develop your own strategy and trading style. You can’t just adopt someone else’s strategy. You can, however, learn from it.
Watching successful traders can help you learn the market. It’s a window into what works and what doesn’t. It allows you to develop your own style of trading, combining your own experience and knowledge with what you learn from other traders.
Don’t be a trader who looks back and thinks, “If only I’d known!” I’m here because I want to help educate you and save you from those ‘if only’ statements.
Here’s how you can start: Find a mentor, someone to help guide you, who you can learn from. Focus on your trading education — start by mastering one or two patterns. Most of all, have patience.
