Seems like hot sectors are dead in 2019 ... so how am I still doing well in the markets? First, I know how to adapt to the markets. Second, I’ve known THIS for years. Once you really get this, you’ll never look at the markets the same. Check it out...
✅ Follow Tim Sykes and his trading travels:
I’m here in Beverly Hills before I head to Turkey, Israel, Japan, and Bali ... I have a crazy and incredible life, and it’s all thanks to the financial freedom trading has given me!
Here’s the deal: if you want to be a smart, self-sufficient trader, you can’t just memorize a few patterns. Yes, I have three key patterns. But it’s NOT about memorizing them. I understand how and why they work.
Let’s talk about the 2019 market. Have you noticed a difference from 2017 and 2018? Guess what? The markets change — all the time.
We haven’t had a hot sector in months. But in the recent past, we had plenty, like weed, CBD, crypto, and so on. This year, not so much...
So how is it that I still made six figures, just like I have pretty much every year for the past 20 years? Because I’m READY for trades when they come my way. I adapt.
Here’s a key example ... Recently, I took advantage of a trade when I saw an Instagram story about BILZF. This stock went crazy because of an informational inefficiency.
In an efficient market, news doesn’t move stocks in a big way. But in an inefficient market, the reaction to news like this can be swift and powerful. It can move stocks FAST. With BILZF, it pushed the stock to more than double in a very short time period.
I LOVE informational inefficiencies. And so should you.
They can happen OVER and OVER in the market. I even talk about them in my book, “An American Hedge Fund.” Read Chapter 6 to learn how I made over $100K in a single day thanks to an informational inefficiency.
Sometimes I feel like I’m taking crazy pills because I keep talking about things that happen time and time again in the markets — but so few people listen.
But I’ll keep teaching because I want you to see and love the opportunities with penny stocks — just like these informational inefficiencies.
