Reporting from Jerusalem for endtimes.com, I share two significant developments impacting Israel. First, a Houthi missile from Yemen struck Ben-Gurion International Airport—the first to penetrate Israel's defenses—causing international airlines to cancel flights, isolating the nation except for El Al service. The attack on this critical hub, which I passed through just days earlier, has prompted Israel's security cabinet to consider direct response options.

Meanwhile, I highlight our Tipping Point family's support for Hibuki Therapy, an extraordinary trauma intervention helping Israeli children. Founded by Dr. Shai Hen-Gal and his team, this program uses a special doll (stuffed animal) with outstretched arms to help traumatized children process their fears. What began during the Second Lebanon War has now helped 150,000 children worldwide, including 60,000 Israeli children since October 7th. Most recently, they've extended this healing to Arab Christian children in Nazareth who face anxiety from missile threats without shelter access. As Dr. Shai noted, there appears to be "a miracle all over this doll."

This month, we have chosen Telem, an organization providing emotional healing to traumatized Israeli children through their Hibuki (‘Huggy’) Intervention program. In Psalm 34:18, we’re reminded that “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed” (NLT). Through Telem’s program, we can work alongside the Lord to support vulnerable children who have experienced severe trauma.
