In this episode, Jimmy Evans goes straight to the words of Jesus in John 14 and Matthew 24, Paul's explicit teaching in 1 Thessalonians 4, and direct quotes from early church fathers who wrote about the Rapture centuries before Darby was born. Irenaeus (AD 130), Eusebius of Caesarea (AD 260), and Ephraim the Syrian (AD 306) all taught it. That's over 1,700 years before John Nelson Darby ever picked up a pen. The truth is that Darby did not invent the rapture. He organized what the church already believed.
