YouTube Description
as posted by the channelTony Bennett has had one of the longest careers ever in the entertainment industry. It seems like his first 20 years were smooth sailing for the rags to riches crooner from Queens, New York. But the late 60's and early 70's found him in a slump - creatively and financially. So he turned to substance abuse to cope. Help for him came from an unexpected source, and thankfully, he was able to pick up the pieces and put his life back together after a VERY low point. Then he had a major comeback in the 2000's. He recorded Duets and Duets II. Amy Winehouse was one of the people with whom he wanted to work, but he also wanted to help her. Unfortunately, he never took that opportunity. But that doesn't mean that there isn't a lesson in Tony Bennett's story for you and I.
