Since Putin's invasion of Ukraine, Turkey's President Erdogan has tried to balance being a NATO member against a mostly friendly relationship with Russia. But, this may have all come to a collapse recently, as Turkey released Ukrainian prisoners and rectified Sweden's accession into NATO.
