In a last-minute wrinkle, however, the Los Angeles district attorney filed a motion asking the judge to postpone the proceedings again, saying they need to review new risk assessments recently completed by the California parole board. NBC’s Liz Kreutz reports and NBC’s Laura Jarrett joins TODAY with analysis.
