A meteor was spotted over New Jersey on Tuesday as well as parts of New York, Pennsylvania and other eastern states. The American Meteor Society says it received nearly 200 reports from people who witnessed the streak of light with some hearing a loud boom. According to NASA, the meteor was moving at 30,000 miles per hour.
