YouTube Description

as posted by the channel

Michelle Pfeiffer's role in "The Madison" was secured, in part, thanks to a call from "1923" star Helen Mirren, who vouched for being on Taylor Sheridan's productions. Pfeiffer initially wanted to read a script before being cast, while Sheridan wanted to cast before writing anything.

"I don’t know Helen, but from what I’ve seen and heard, she’s sort of a take no prisoners kind of person. I thought she would be really straight with me, like 'Run,' ... and basically it was like, 'Run and do it.'"
