Elon Musk Sells About $4 Billion in Tesla Stock After Agreeing to Buy Twitter. Elon reported selling more than 4.4 million shares on Tuesday and Wednesday to finance the Twitter acquisition. Elon also tweeted : “No further TSLA sales planned after today.”
