Repeat DWI Offender (and Thief) Arrested AGAIN for Stealing in Asbury Park, NJ

Around 2:05 PM on October 10, 2023, officers Garcia-Aguirre and Ludolph with the Asbury Park Police Department made contact with 2 individuals who were suspected of stealing and engaging in other illicit activities on prior occasions. The subject identified herself as “Shannon” to Officer Garcia-Aguirre, and he asked Officer Ludolph to verify that information through the system. Based on Officer Sarno’s identification, the officers eventually learned that her real name was Hannah Papendick, and that there were multiple warrants for her arrest. Court records also indicated that Hannah has been arrest multiple times in the past for DWIs and shoplifting.

Based on this finding, Hannah was informed that she was under arrest. A search of her person incident to arrest revealed that she was in possession of prohibited items and a stolen credit card. She was transported to police HQ for further processing, and told that she was not allowed to return to the other Family Dollar store where she had previously shoplifted. Hannah was charged with Obstructing (2C:29-1A), Hindering (2C:29-3B(4)), and CDS Paraphernalia (2C:36-2A) and transported by Officers Pettway and Champllioun to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
