Entitled Woman Acts Like a Child During SIXTH DWI Arrest

Around 8:40 PM on January 3, 2025, Officer Nicholas Losurdo with the Hoboken Police Department noticed that a vehicle was illegally parked in a manner obstructing traffic on Sinatra Drive. He activated his siren in an attempt to have the driver move the vehicle, but the driver did not respond. He exited his patrol car and noticed that the driver was asleep behind the wheel. He made contact with the driver, and she was identified as Eileny.

Officer Losurdo noticed that Eileny’s eyes were watery and bloodshot, along with other indicators of impairment. Eileny informed him that she was waiting for her boyfriend, and she refused to cooperate or provide the officer with the requested documentation. Officers Roberto Cuevas and Alyssa Rivera were called to the scene to come and administer field sobriety exercises.

Officer Cuevas started with the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN) test. The second exercise was the Walk and Turn test. At this point, Eileny refused to cooperate and tried to make excuses for why she could not perform the test. Eventually, Officer Cuevas decided to terminate the field sobriety exercises.

Based on her indicators of impairment and her unwillingness to satisfactorily complete the field sobriety exercises, Eileny was placed under arrest for driving under the influence. After she was placed under arrest, the vehicle was impounded for a 12-hour hold according to John’s Law. The officers transported Eileny to the Hoboken Police Department for further processing.

At police headquarters, Eileny was read the Standard Statement for Motor Vehicle Operators, but she refused to submit breath samples. A search of her records indicated that she has multiple prior arrests for DWIs as well as other criminal charges. Based on her history of DWIs, she is not permitted to operate a motor vehicle without an ignition interlock device.

Eileny was issued the following citations:

-Operating under the influence

-Refusal to submit breath samples

-Consent to take samples of breath

-Reckless driving

-Operating at slow speed blocking traffic

-Refusal to install ignition interlock device

Eileny was also cited for prohibited parking in violation of Ordinance 190-03. She was later released to a sober adult pending her court appearance.

According to New Jersey court records, Eileny’s previous DWIs happened in the following locations on each respective date:

-Fairview, New Jersey on August 11, 2021

-Union City, New Jersey on July 30, 2020

-Union City, New Jersey on December 29, 2019

-Fort Lee, New Jersey on June 21, 2019

-West New York, New Jersey on August 4, 2018

Eileny was also arrested for aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer (2C:12-1B(5)(A)) in West New York, New Jersey on April 4, 2024.
