Man Punches a Woman in the Face and Gets Arrested in Front of a Hoboken Bar

Around 12:30 AM on January 26, 2025, Sergeant Robert Roman and Officers Marc Lombardi and Nicholas Losurdo with the Hoboken Police Department responded to a report of an assault at Birch on 92 River Street. The officers made contact with security personnel and officers with the New Jersey Transit Police Department as they were restraining a disorderly male who was heavily intoxicated. As the man was being handcuffed, a woman approached one of the officers and informed him that he had punched her in the face. A manager at Birch would later tell the officer that the he had kicked him in the balls as well.

The man was identified as 23-year-old Abraham Knowlton. After Abraham was arrested, he was searched and placed in a patrol car. An officer transported him to the Hoboken Police Department for further processing. Abraham was charged with disorderly conduct under 2C:33-2A(1) and released pending his court appearance.
