Woman and her Fiancé BOTH Arrested After Allegedly Assaulting her Friend's Boyfriend

Around 12:21 AM on March 30, 2025, officers with the St. Charles Police Department were dispatched to a battery in progress. Upon arrival at the residence, officers made contact with the alleged victim who told them that both a male and female had assaulted him. They had apparently come to his girlfriend’s residence unannounced and both individuals allegedly struck him on the head. The alleged offenders had already left the scene by the time officers arrived.

Officers located where couple resided by searching through law enforcement records. They went to their place of residence and made contact with the 2 alleged offenders, who were identified as Monica and Luis. They initially denied assaulting the other individual, after an on-scene investigation that involved bringing the alleged victim for a show up, both individuals were positively identified by the victim. Both individuals were arrested on allegations of battery, transported to the St. Charles Police Department for further processing, and eventually released pending their court appearances.
