50:29Now PlayingAround 3:22 AM on July 7, 2024, officers with the St. Petersburg Police Department were called to the parking lot of the Ibis Walk Apartments on a report of a disturbance. Two officers arrived on scene to investigate. Officer Matthew Tsotras made contact with a woman who claimed that her sister had allegedly assaulted her. Officer Moises Maynard officer made contact with a woman named Jenna and her boyfriend Christopher. Jenna told the officer that she had a disagreement with her sister earlier that evening when they had gone out for drinks, and claimed that it was because she was jealous of her.
The officers interviewed both parties separately. After one woman claimed that she was physically assaulted by her sister and she had visible marks on her body, it was determined that the other woman would be placed under arrest. Even if her sister ultimately declined to press charges against Jenna, the law in Florida still required the other party to be placed under arrest as a domestic case because they were related to each other.
While Jenna was going to be transported to the Pinellas County Jail until she could see a judge, she made some concerning remarks on the way. As a result, she was transported to the hospital to be evaluated further. After she was evaluated and cleared by the doctor at the hospital and cleared, Jenna was booked into the Pinellas County Jail and held until she could see a judge. She was charged with domestic battery.
