Exotic Dancer Arrested for Stealing Makeup from Target

Around 9:10 AM on August 19, 2025, Patrolman Alfredo Molina with the Eatontown Police Department initially responded to a report of a female shoplifter who had left the Target on 56 State Route 36. He made contact with a female matching the caller’s description in the parking lot. She told him that she had a job interview later that day. When he asked her whether or not she had stolen anything, she admitted to leaving the store with makeup that she did not pay for.

She eventually retrieved the makeup that she had stolen and handed the officer a copy of her driver’s license. At this time, she was identified as 21-year-old Moriah Alexis Hale. It was listed on the report that she worked as a dancer for the Breathless Men’s Club in Rahway, New Jersey.

The asset protection employees showed the officers surveillance footage where Moriah was running around the store supposedly under the influence before exiting with unpaid merchandise. The asset protection employee initially did not seem inclined to press charges, but he changed his mind after Sergeant Christopher Quackenbush convinced him indirectly. Moriah was placed under arrest for shoplifting.

After she was placed under arrest, Patrolman Molina placed her in the patrol car and subsequently transported her to the Eatontown Police Department for further processing. At police HQ, Moriah was finger printed and photographed. She was charged with shoplifting under 2C:20-11B(2) and released pending her court appearance.

Court records indicate that Moriah was later arrested again for driving under the influence in Toms River, New Jersey on September 10, 2025.

The summary of events was based on records that are “open to public view through open access to public records” as defined in the Salzano case. In Ramos v. Flowers, 429 N.J. Super. 13, the Appellate Division of the Superior Court has also affirmed the right to film law enforcement interactions.
