Jesus Wants to be Your Lord AND Savior If You'll Let Him- Inspirational Word | Troy Black

Jesus isn't the Lord of our lives until we let Him be our Savior. Some of us attempt to make the lordship of Jesus Christ all about what WE CAN DO for Him, but Jesus tells us that apart from Him we can do nothing (see John 15:5). It's not until we accept Him as our Savior that His lordship over our lives can begin. It's not through what we can achieve on our own - submitting to His lordship is a good desire to have, but it’s not something we can do until we recognize how desperately we really need saving. We must accept how great His gift of salvation truly is.

Let Him guide and direct each step of your life, and His blessing will follow. The key is seeking a relationship and the ability to hear what the Holy Spirit wants to say to us, day-in and day-out. God is constantly speaking to us and over us. It's up to us to position our hearts to hear what He is saying.
