I realize this video is a fairly one-sided appeal to preach the full gospel. Yes, the love of God can also be misrepresented and there is a hyper-grace movement that also teaches a false gospel. However, my heart behind this video was to specifically point out the problem with telling people to change their ways and not also telling them about the love, grace, and mercy of God demonstrated to us at the cross. Without the truth, people cannot be saved. That includes the fact that we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. However, the truth also includes the fact that Jesus died for us while we were yet sinners, not after we cleaned ourselves up.
Romans 5:8 - “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
