When the "inner world" of our thoughts, and hopes are not matched to the "outer world," I.E. what we DO physically, then we as people are living two different lives. God said it's time to stop "acting good" if you don't believe in the action.
We need to allow the Holy Spirit replace our intentions with His as we read and meditate on the Word of God.
