David was in a custody battle when his ex-wife Linda Watson disappeared. His wife Rosemary Watson had an alibi for him when Linda disappeared. Years later, Linda's mom Marilyn and her friend Renee Farnsworth were gunned down while Linda was in a custody battle with David. Rosemary went on to say the alibi from Linda's disappearance was fake.
