In this episode of Crime Watch Daily Updates: The tragic case of newlyweds Jordan Graham and Cody Johnson.

Jordan and Cody met at church and the two kept their relationship Rated-PG. While Cody doted on Jordan and fell head over heels in love with her, she maintained some distance and even had her friend do most of the wedding planning with Cody.

On their wedding day, Jordan walked down the aisle sobbing – and they didn’t appear to be happy tears, either.

Eight days after exchanging their vows, Cody went missing. As friends, family, and law enforcement officials searched for answers, Jordan appeared to be happier than ever.

Then, Jordan told police she got a suspicious email from someone named Tony telling her Cody fell off a cliff and died at Glacier National Park. Jordan guided the search party to an area near a ravine, climbed down, and announced she found her husband’s body. At his funeral, Jordan spent the whole time on her phone, texting.

FBI agents arrested Jordan, and she eventually admitted to pushing him off a cliff. She was charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, and making misleading statements.

But shortly before all the evidence was in, Jordan agreed to plead guilty to second-degree murder.

On March 27, 2014, a judge sentenced Jordan to 30 years in federal prison. The next year, Jordan’s attorney appealed the sentence length, arguing it violated her plea agreement. The circuit court denied her appeal for a shorter sentence.

In 2016, Jordan appealed her case to the U.S. Supreme Court, but the high court denied hearing her arguments.

Now let’s take a look back at the case of an infatuated husband who never saw his end coming.
