Four teenagers were arrested in Maplewood during a Fourth of July celebration last year.
The teens arrested made complaints that officers on scene used excessive force and that the group was marched out of Maplewood into neighboring Irvington NJ.
This week local news publication The Village Green obtained and released police dashcam video of the incident.
The Maplewood Township Committee took action and suspended Maplewood Police Chief Robert Cimino who was implicated in the video, and have asked for him to resign.
Retired NYPD sergeant Joe Giacalone joined Chasing News via Skype to break down the video.
