YouTube Description
as posted by the channelBoris Nadezhdin is a very experienced Russian politician who used to take up auxiliary and secondary roles throughout his career. However, in 2023 he decided to run for a major one for the first time — he challenged Vladimir Putin for his presidency. Even though it was predetermined that at some stage of the process he would have either been denied registration or even persecuted. Nevertheless, his role was not just to put on a show to prove that politics still exist in Russia. He became the candidate that all the anti-war and anti-Putin Russians consolidated around. Today that is arguably even more important than appearing on the ballot.
