So it's true, Trump was watching "Fox & Friends" when he got confused about whether or not he supports reauthorization of Section 702 the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).

Washington Bureau Chief for The Intercept and TYT contributor Ryan Grim ( ) called it correctly in a live exchange with our Facebook audience, edited here to include video evidence.

Viewer comments and questions are fielded by and filmmaker Eric Byler ( ).

This is from a livecast to Facebook from Capitol Hill moments after the U.S. House voted to reauthorize Section 702 the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) for 6 years with minimal changes.

The measure now moves on to the Senate, where it has already cleared a procedural hurdle, and, many believe, it is likely to pass.

The law was first enacted in 2008 in order to retroactively legalize President George W. Bush’s warrentless wiretapping program. It allows the National Security Agency (NSA) to collect Americans’ information when they communicate with targeted foreign nationals overseas.
