as posted by the channelSan Francisco is rapidly becoming immersed in the growing tech culture in California. It is a hotbed of new opportunities in policymaking as everything from start-ups to international corporations converge on a city which already has a vibrant culture and unique challenges.
To explore these opportunities, the IOP brought students to California meet with policymakers, strategists, lobbyists and tech giants to see where their interest in politics and public service could take them in a place like San Francisco. This trek was a collaborative effort between the Institute of Politics and the Office of Career Advancement at the University of Chicago.
