McLean chronicles the story of Fannie and Freddie seven years after the meltdown, and tells us why homeownership finance is now one of the biggest unsolved issues today and why the housing market must be placed on firmer ground.
McLean, a contributing editor to Vanity Fair magazine, is the author of the the acclaimed books The Smartest Guys in the Room, on the Enron scandal, and All the Devils Are Here, on the 2008 financial crisis.
