YouTube Description

as posted by the channel

The IOP welcomed the Republican National Committee’s Director of Research, Raj Shah, for a look at how opposition research is gathered and used. What techniques do researchers use? How is information curated? What type of information is useful? What is the relationship between the campaigns and press organizations? And how are decisions made on what materials are best to use—and sometimes more importantly when to use it? This event was part of “America in the Trump Era,” the IOP’s look at the changes - cultural, policy, media and otherwise - coming under a Trump administration.
