With races for control of Congress and the White House and statehouses on the horizon, the nonpartisan University of Chicago Institute of Politics (IOP) and the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard convened an intensive two-day boot camp to equip journalists with practical tools to cover increasingly more complex local and national elections.
Campaign Journalism Conference 2024 brought together 150 journalists, political consultants and academics from across the U.S. to learn the practical skills necessary to help journalists at small, medium and large outlets effectively cover political campaigns.
