Christiana Figueres, the new Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) talks about how she became involved in climate change issues, the accomplishments of carbon finance and what kind of climate change action is needed in future.

Ms. Figueres, a Costa Rican national, was appointed in May 2010 as the fourth Executive Secretary of UNFCCC. The interview took place during the Carbon Expo 2010 in Cologne, Germany shortly before Ms. Figueres took up her new position.
