Despite the high number of participants travelling to Bonn, Germany to attend the conference, COP23 is a climate neutral event, thanks to the “Climate Neutral Now” initiative of the UNFCCC. The local airport Köln/Bonn also strives for climate neutrality and partnered with the UNFCCC for this COP23 campaign.
