as posted by the channelThe FSV process serves as a foundation for the enhanced transparency framework under the Paris Agreement, which represents an important component of increasing ambition to tackle climate change by building trust and confidence that countries are taking actions.
During this ninth FSV workshop, seventeen countries – Azerbaijan, Brazil, China, Colombia, Côte d'Ivoire, El Salvador, Georgia, Indonesia, Mexico, Montenegro, Namibia, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, Republic of Moldova, Singapore and South Africa-will be sharing their achievements, climate actions and experiences that contribute to the global emission reductions. Information is also shared on their needs and support received, to effectively implement these actions. The FSV allows all Parties to the UNFCCC to ask questions to clarify their mitigation actions, and the needs and support received.
