《联合国气候变化框架公约》秘书处（UN Climate Change）是负责支持全球应对气候变化威胁的联合国机构。UNFCCC 是《联合国气候变化框架公约》的缩写。该公约的成员几乎包括全球所有国家（198 个缔约方），是 2015 年《巴黎协定》的母条约。《巴黎协定》的主要目标是“把全球平均气温升幅控制在工业化前水平以上低于2℃之内，并努力将气温升幅限制在工业化前水平以上1.5° C之内”。《公约》也是1997年《京都议定书》的母条约。《公约》下所有协定的最终目标是在足以使生态系统能够自然地适应气候变化的时间框架内，将大气中的温室气体浓度稳定在防止气候系统受到危险的人为干扰的水平上，并促进可持续发展。
