Trump is attempting to avoid prosecution by arguing his actions were protected under Article 2, Section 3 of the Constitution and Supreme Court precedent. Now, Trump will ask the Supreme Court to overturn the appellate court's decision.
Meanwhile, the federal election interference trial date of March 4th has been postponed.
