YouTube Description
as posted by the channel#impeachment #McGahn #subpoena
Don McGahn was subpoenaed to appear before the US House of Representatives. The Trump administration objected on the basis of executive privilege, among other arguments. The US House voted to impeach the President while the legal issue was still pending in the courts.
The DC Circuit is being asked to decided whether McGahn should be forced to testify. But there is also an issue of mootness - since the house already voted to impeach. In a legal filing, the US House has argued the testimony subponea is not moot because they might impeach the President again!
Perpetual impeachments - how exciting! Now the question isn't "if", but rather "how many times"... Over/under @ 3.5 ... what do you think?
