The US Supreme Court has extended the protections of Title 7 of the civil rights act to gay and transgender employees. Perhaps surprisingly to some, Justice Gorsuch wrote the majority opinion. So is this a conservative decision, consistent with conservative legal principles? Or is this a re-write of legislation by the court acting as a super legislature?
