as posted by the channelJennifer Crumbley, the mom of Oxford High School shooter Ethan Crumbley, is being charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter after her son killed four of his classmates and injured several other people in the 2021 shooting. The parents are being accused of buying the gun that their son used in the shooting, and of reckless disregard of a known threat leading to death. The case is novel and unprecidented in attempting to hold parents responsible for a homicide caused by their children, and raises significant legal concern about how if the parents are convicted in what ways other parents may likewise be held responsible for their child's acts.
