The killings happened in the early morning hours of November 13, 2022.

A rental house near the University of Idaho campus in Moscow, Idaho.
✅ How:
Investigators say Kohberger entered the home at night and stabbed the victims with a large knife.
✅ Evidence:
DNA allegedly found on a knife sheath left at the crime scene matched Kohberger.
Cell phone records and surveillance footage reportedly show his car near the house at the time of the murders.
A surviving roommate described seeing a masked man leaving.
✅ Legal Status:
Kohberger was arrested in Pennsylvania in December 2022 and extradited to Idaho. He has pleaded not guilty to four counts of first-degree murder and one count of burglary.
Yesterday he decided to take a plea deal of LIFE in prison.
