In this episode, I explore the remarkably similar visage of a demon across the Indonesian archipelagos, Asia, and India. I also examine the first clown costumes of the 1800s and how even more remarkably similar they are in design to the Rakshasa demons of this Hindu-inspired region. I also corrected the record on who created this colourful design and why their inspiration may have been Indian iconography.
