as posted by the channel

Amelia Earhart crashed her plane on July 2, 1937 and, to this day, the plane crash and her disappearance are still being discussed.

The History channel released a documentary that suggests Earhart, and her navigator Fred Noonan, survived the crash and were put to death in 1939 by the Japanese military. This episode will look at that fateful crash, why it happened, and some of the theories that try to explain what happened to Earhart and Noonan following the crash.
