0:26Now PlayingTwo dogs hijacked their owner's car and drove it into a Walmart in West Virginia on Friday.
According to WSAZ-TV in Huntington, an employee on break watched the car roll out of its parking space and move slowly toward her. The employee thought it was a joke, she told the station, until she saw a dog in the car's driver's seat.
The vehicle inched along slowly until it crashed into the Walmart and came to a stop. That's when the second dog, riding in the passenger seat, rolled down the window and, presumably, played it cool.
Yes, this really happened. According to Wayne County 911, a dispatcher took the following notes from an officer who responded to the scene: “Two dogs in the car. One knocked car out of gear. Other rolled window down.”
The dogs were reportedly not wearing seat belts.
