This Delaware high school is still in its infancy; it opened in 2016. But the school’s Chief Academic Officer Dr. Martin Rayala has big ambitions. He wants to transform the way students learn all over the nation by proving that design-based thinking can jumpstart the way students problem solve.

“In starting this school, I didn’t want some kind of a boutique school that was just for selected students,” Rayala says. “I wanted a proof-of-concept for a method of education using the design-thinking model.”
