YouTube Description
as posted by the channelLions, wineries and history: Come for the animals but fall in love with much more.
“Complexity is what we love the most about it,” said Nick Battle, wine expert at Waterford Estate, as he poured a taste of “The Jem” – an exquisite blend of eight estate-grown varietals. The trip began almost a year ago as a dream vacation for Diane and Herb Rankin. Their daughter recently married and their new in-laws, Anais and Rafael Chavez, had visited Africa countless times thanks to Anais’ long-time role as a safari consultant with African Travel. The two couples got along so well, they decided to take this trip of a lifetime together. “Part of the fun of coming here is sharing it with someone else,” Rafael said. “We never get tired of coming to South Africa. We can continue coming ten more times and every one will be different.”
