YouTube Description
as posted by the channel50 years in the making, this veteran's Christmas came early.
In the summer of 1964, William Albright stayed overnight at an eastern Iowa hotel on his return to Washington, D.C., after teaching a summer course at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado.
The Class of 1954 U.S. Military Academy graduate passed time that day by swimming in the hotel's pool. He wore his class ring — an all-gold band embossed with the West Point seal — while in the water.
He lost it.
