Forget snow and cold weather. All this athlete needs are skis and sand to train for the winter Olympics.

TAFARYA, MOROCCO - He may not have ideal conditions to train for the 2018 Winter Olympics, but Samir Azzimani is working with what's available to him. That means training for cross-country skiing in the heat of Morocco's desert.

Instead of traditional cross-country skis used for trekking through snow and ice, he uses roller skis to practice along dusty Moroccan streets to build up his strength.
