This is what access could look like for the hundreds of thousands of women who seek abortions every year after the overturning of Roe v. Wade. We follow 15 women who travel out of state from Texas to New Mexico to have legal abortions and speak with them about how they feel about the new reality of abortion bans. We also travel to Athens, Texas to meet with Mark Lee Dickson, one of the most influential anti-abortion activists in the country. He helped lay the framework for Texas Senate Bill 8, what’s commonly known as the Texas Heartbeat Act.
