The top 8 contestants on "The Voice" left it all on the stage, earning wild praise from coaches John Legend, Camila Cabello, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. But in the case of Omar Jose Cardona from Team Legend, sometimes singing can be so good it prompts playful roasting instead of compliments. “I'm pretty sure he was lip-syncing on that one," Stefani joked, after Cardona nearly blew the roof off the studio with his high belting on Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On."
"There’s no way that was real. We’re moved to laughter because we can’t take it seriously that you can sing that good." In the case of Omar Jose Cardona from Team Legend, sometimes singing can be so good it prompts playful roasting from the coaches instead of compliments.
Stefani's hubby and fellow coach Shelton agreed.
"All across America right now, old men are getting up off their easy chair and picking up their toupee," he said. Legend said Cardona can do anything: "I feel like as a coach I just try to dream up what challenge I can issue to Omar, because Omar can do it."
