Law enforcement found a note Thursday night during searches of a home connected to the suspect in the shootings in Lewiston, Maine, that killed 18 people earlier this week.
During a news conference on Friday, Maine Department of Public Safety Commissioner Mike Sauschuck confirmed a note was discovered but said, "I'm not permitted to really talk about what that included." He said investigators are looking into whether the note ties in with a potential "mindset" or "motive."
