as posted by the channelA father-son duo started a mass shooting Sydney’s Bondi Beach during a Jewish Hanukkah celebration, police said, killing at least 15 people in the worst shooting in Australia in almost 30 years.
The shooting has rocked the nation, but a man identified by Australian media as 43-year-old Sydney fruit shop owner Ahmed al Ahmed has been hailed as a hero for tackling and disarming one of the gunmen during the attack.
Video captured by a bystander showed the man identified as Ahmed creeping through a parking lot before tackling the gunman from behind. He was shot by the second gunman but is recovering from his injuries, his family said.
