Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz said on Saturday, Jan. 24, that another person has been shot by federal law enforcement in Minneapolis.
"Just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning," Walz posted on X, formerly known as Twitter. "Minnesota has had it. This is sickening. The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now."
Minneapolis city officials reported a shooting involving federal law enforcement took place in the area of 26th Street West and Nicollet Avenue.
"We are working to confirm additional details," the city posted on social media, asking the public to "remain calm" and avoid the area while officials investigate the shooting.
