The second-oldest continuously held U.S. sporting event after only the Kentucky Derby returns to New York for a milestone edition.

The 150th edition of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show will take place in the heart of New York City, with events at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and Madison Square Garden, the original home of the show. The event was temporarily shifted outdoors and moved to spring in the years following the COVID pandemic, until last year.

More than 3,000 champion dogs across 200 different breeds from all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, and 17 countries, will compete in the milestone event, which features agility and obedience competitions, according to a news release.
